Corporate mechs for the Siege (a CorpWars game)
One great thing with preproduction on the Siege (our next project) is that we get a few concepts down on how things will look in our backdrop setting, Corp Wars. These are a Heavy and Light mech with a large hardsuit at the bottom. Making sure these are (fairly) realistic and also animate well is important, which is why figuring out how they’d work in real life, mechanically, is important. The “Corp CAV Sitter” has an outlined guideline for how it gets up from the ground and the hardsuit’s movements were analysed before it was fully fleshed out.
